EPIC soccer for Spring 2025 is open for registration!

EPIC will play at Creekside Park, Cupertino, on Sundays, March 23rd through May 18th. We expect to run the same way we have in the past with a 1:30pm start and end at 2:30 for our little ones and 3pm for our older kids.

Program Description

South Bay VIP Soccer is an EPIC program within the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and is run by volunteers. The program was started in the fall of 2003 and serves children with disabilities who otherwise would not have the opportunity to play soccer. We have adapted the game of soccer so that every child can play regardless of their ability. For example, we use balls that beep for our visually impaired players.

The program operates in the fall and spring. We have served over 500 children since 2003. For children with disabilities there are many barriers that they must overcome in their lives. South Bay VIP Soccer eliminates some of these barriers to enable inclusive soccer for kids with disabilities. Since its founding in 1964, AYSO's main philosophy has been "Everyone plays", now that has been expanded to "Everyone Plays In our Community". This program makes this key philosophy a reality.

Registration Information

Spring Soccer will begin on Sunday, March 23rd at Creekside Park in Cupertino from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (ends at 2:30 p.m. for younger players).

To register your child, you will need to go through the AYSO Area 2J EPIC program page. Details are available on that page.

Youth Volunteer Information

We are in need of buddy volunteers. As a buddy, you will work with children, who have some sort of disability, enabling them an opportunity to play soccer.

The Spring soccer season runs from March 23rd through May 18th, every Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Creekside Park.

Volunteer time is 2 hours per Sunday (total volunteer hours is 20 hours) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. You do not need to attend every Sunday.
